How often should I charge my Ather RIZTA if I ride only 10–15 km daily?
I’ve just started using my Ather for daily office runs, which is about 12 km round trip. Do I need to plug it in every day, or is there a smarter way to manage charging and battery health?
How many seconds does the Ather Rizta take to go from 0 -> 40 km/h?
40% of Two-Wheelers in India Could Be Electric by 2031
Despite global doubts about the future of electric vehicles (EVs), India’s EV scene is heating up—especially in the two-wheeler segment. And Ather Energy is leading the charge. In a recent interview with The Economic Times, Ather CEO Tarun Mehta projected that 40% of all two-wheelers in India could be electric by 2031. He believes electric scooters will dominate new sales in the coming years as buyers shift away from combustion engines.🚀 What's Fueling the Growth?Electric scooters already lead the EV race: In the last financial year, two-wheelers made up over 58% of all EV sales in India.Cost is falling, demand is rising: As Ather scales up production, prices are expected to become more competitive.🏭 New Factories, New FuturesAther is investing heavily in expanding its production capabilities:A new plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) is on the way. It will have the capacity to produce 1 million units per year, more than double the capacity of its current Hosur facility. The plant will produce next-gen models based on the EL platform (for scooters) and the Zenith platform (for electric motorcycles).🔋 EL & Zenith: Ather’s Bold New PlatformsEL Platform: Designed for mass-market electric scooters with better scalability and lower production costs.Zenith Platform: Ather’s entry into the electric motorcycle space. It offers more room for batteries and fewer design constraints. While legacy automakers debate the future of EVs, Ather Energy is moving fast and building for scale. If their bets pay off, the streets of India could look very different by 2031—quieter, cleaner, and electric.
Request: Intercom in Ather Halo Helmet
I’ve been using the Ather Halo helmet for a while now and love the design and features. One thing I feel could make it even better is an in-built intercom system. It would help riders communicate with each other during group rides without needing to stop or shout over traffic. This could improve safety, make coordination smoother, and add more fun to riding together.Curious to know if others feel the same. Would an intercom be useful for you too?
